Σήμερα 9 Μαρτίου η εκκλησία μας εορτάζει τη μνήμη των Αγίων Τεσσαράκοντα Μαρτύρων. Αυτή τη μέρα η παράδοση του λαού μας την έχει συνδυάσει με τη φύτευση των ετήσιων καλοκαιρινών φυτών. "Ένα θα σπείρης, σαράντα θα φυτρώσουν" έλεγε η συχωρεμένη η μάνα μου.
