ΚΑΡΦΙΤΣΑ ΜΕ ΑΝΘΗ ΣΕ ΣΧΗΜΑ ΠΑΝΣΕ (BROOCH WITH PANSY FLOWERS)

ΜΙΚΡΑ ΚΕΙΚ ΠΟΡΤΟΚΑΛΙΟΥ (SMALL ORANGE CAKES)

Επηρεασμένη από τη συνταγή αυτή: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zzUUogCnxIM έφτιαξα αυτά μικρά κέικ πορτοκαλιού. Μοίρασα τη ζύμη σε μικρές σιλικονούχες φόρμες που μετά το ψήσιμο διακόσμησα τα μικρά κέικ με μικές λωρίδες από γλυκό κουταλιού πορτοκάλι και  επίσης ένα κουταλάκι σιρόπι πορτοκαλιού στο κέντρο.

✅ Υλικά: 1 αυγό Μια πρέζα αλάτι 1/2 φλιτζάνι ζάχαρη (100 γρ.) Λίγη βανίλια 1/3 φλιτζάνι λάδι (80 ml) 3/4 φλιτζάνι γιαούρτι (180 ml) Ξύσμα από 1 πορτοκάλι Χυμό από 1 πορτοκάλι 2 φλιτζάνια αλεύρι (250 γρ.) 1 κουταλιά της σούπας μπέικιν πάουντερ (15 γρ.) 1/4 φλιτζάνι γάλα (60 ml)

Influenced by this recipe: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zzUUogCnxIM I made these little orange cakes. I divided the dough into small silicone molds that after baking I decorated the little cakes with small strips of orange sugar and also a teaspoon of orange syrup in the center.

✅ Ingredients:

1 egg

A pinch of salt

1/2 cup sugar (100 g)

A little vanilla

1/3 cup oil (80 ml)

3/4 cup yogurt (180 ml)

Zest of 1 orange

Juice of 1 orange

2 cups flour (250 g)

1 tablespoon baking powder (15 g)

1/4 cup milk (60 ml)

ΜΙΑ ΕΙΚΟΝΑ ΓΙΑ ΤΗΝ ΚΥΡΙΑΚΗ ΤΗΣ ΟΡΘΟΔΟΞΙΑΣ (AN ICON FOR THE SUNDAY OF ORTHODOXNESS)

 

Σήμερα Κυριακή της Ορθοδοξίας, η Εκκλησία μας γιορτάζει την αναστήλωση των εικόνων. Σύμφωνα μα το τυπικό της Εκκλησίας όσες εικόνες ακολουθούν την περιφορά γύρω από τους ναούς αγιάζονται & μπορούν να έχουν μια θέση στο εικονοστάσι του σπιτιού. Επί τη ευκαιρία σας δείχνω τον τρόπο που μπορείτε να φτιάξετε μια απομίμηση εικόνας.

• Πρώτα επιλέγετε ένα κομμάτι ξύλου πάχους 1-2 εκ. (Εγώ επέλεξα ένα κομμάτι ξύλο κομμένο από κορμό δέντρου)
• Αποθηκεύστε την επιθυμητή εικόνα.  (Για να μεταφέρετε βυζαντινές εικόνες για decoupage μειώστε τη φωτεινότητα & αντίστοιχα αυξήστε το κοντράστ). 
• Μεταφέρετε την επιθυμητή εικόνα σε έγγραφο Ward. Με τον τρόπο αυτό μπορείτε να τυπώσετε την εικόνα σε Α4 έχοντας το ακριβές μέγεθος που επιθυμείτε ανάλογα με το μέγεθος του ξύλου για το οποίο προορίζεται. Σε εικονες βυζαντινής τεχνοτροπίας μπορείτε εδώ να την επιμηκύνετε λίγο χωρίς να αλλοιωθεί έντονα το τελικό αποτέλεσμα. 
• Κατόπιν τυπώνετε σε εκτυπωτή laser την εικόνα σε μέγεθος μικρότερο από το αντίστοιχο ξύλο κατά περίπου 3-4 εκ. περιμετρικά.
• Πριν από κάθε επεξεργασία καρφώστε στο πίσω μέρος το εξάρτημα που χρησμοποιηθεί για κρέμασμα.
• Πριν από την επεξεργασία βάφετε το πίσω μέρος & τα πλάγια (Εγώ ψέκασα το ξύλο με μαύρο spray) . 
• Κατόπιν βρέχοντας το τυπωμένο χαρτί το κολλάτε προσεκτικά με κόλα decoupage. 
• Το περιθώριο μπορείτε να το διακοσμήσετε όπως θέλετε.(Εδώ κάλυψα το περιθώριο και τα πλάγια με στόκο και άχρωμο cristal gel, το οποίο γίνεται διάφανο μετά το στέγνωμα. Το οποίο χτύπησα με σπάτουλα για να γίνει ανάγλυφο).
• Η εικόνα επιπλέον διακοσμείται με conture(relief). 
• Τέλος ένα στρώμα από spray λούστρου γυαλιστερό για στεγανοποίηση και λάμψη.

Today, Orthodox Sunday, our Church celebrates the restoration of icons. According to the Church's custom, all icons that follow the procession around the temples are sanctified & can have a place on the iconostasis of the home. On this occasion, I show you how you can make an imitation of an icon.

• 
  
• First, choose a piece of wood 1-2 cm thick. (I chose a piece of wood cut from a tree trunk)
• Save the desired image. (To transfer Byzantine icons for decoupage, reduce the brightness & increase the contrast accordingly).
• Transfer the desired image to a Ward document. This way you can print the image on A4 having the exact size you want depending on the size of the wood for which it is intended. In Byzantine style icons, you can lengthen it a little here without significantly altering the final result.
• Then print the image on a laser printer in a size smaller than the corresponding wood by about 3-4 cm. around.
• Before each treatment, nail the part used for hanging to the back.
• Before treatment, paint the back & sides (I sprayed the wood with black spray).
• Then, wetting the printed paper, carefully glue it with decoupage glue.
• You can decorate the border as you wish. (Here I covered the border and sides with putty and colorless cristal gel, which becomes transparent after drying. Which I hit with a spatula to make it embossed).
• The image is also decorated with contour (relief).
• Finally, a layer of glossy spray varnish for waterproofing and shine.

ΝΗΣΤΙΣΣΙΜΑ ΜΑΦΦΙΝΣ ΜΕ ΤΡΟΥΦΑ ΣΟΚΟΛΑΤΑΣ (LENT MUFFINS WITH CHOCOLATE TRUFFLES)

Ακολουθώντας τις οδηγίες εδώ: https://www.argiro.gr/recipe/mafin-kakao-xoris-auga/ έφτιαξα αυτά τα νηστίσσιμα κεκάκια, με μόνη διαφορά πως αντικατέστησα το σησαμέλαιο με ηλιέλαιο και το κακάο με συο κουταλιές αλεύρι και αφού τοποθέτησα τη ζύμη σε μικρές φόρμες από σιλικόνη και πασπάλισα με τρούφα σκολολάτας. 

Following the instructions here: https://www.argiro.gr/recipe/mafin-kakao-xoris-auga/ I made these fasting cupcakes, with the only difference being that I replaced the sesame oil with sunflower oil and the cocoa with two tablespoons of flour, and then placed the dough in small silicone molds and sprinkled with scollata truffles.

ΣΙΔΕΡΟ ΔΙΑΚΟΣΜΗΜΕΝΟ ΜΕ ΕΙΚΟΝΕΣ ΑΠΟ ΦΡΑΟΥΛΕΣ (IRON DECORATED WITH STRAWBERRY IMAGES)

 

¨Ενα παλιό σίδερο άλλαξε όψη ως εξής:

• Πριν από κάθε επεξεργασία το σίδερο είχα βατεί σε χρυσό χρώμα μέσα έξω, εκτός από τοξύλινο χερούλι και το ξύλινο κουμπί κλεισίματος που είχαν βαφεί με κόκκινο χρώμα.
• Τα ξύλινα μέρη καλύφτηκαν με χαρτοταινία.

• Το εξωτερικό πλάγιο μέρος  καθώς & το καπάκι καλύφτηκε με ένα στρώμα κρακελέ του ενός συστατικού. 
• Μετά το στέγνωμα καλύφτηκαν αυτά τα σημεία με λευκό ακρυλικό χρώμα με χρήση σφουγγαριού, ετός από το καπάκι που καλύφτηκε με μαύρο χρώμα .
• Μέσα & έξω έγινε decoupage με εικόνες σκισμένες από χαρτοπετσέτα.
• Με κουκκίδες από πορτοκαλί ακρυλικό χρώμα & χρήση στένσιλ έγιναν οι κουκκίδες στο καπάκι καθώς και ακανόνιστες γραμμές στο άνω μέρος του καπακιού..
• Μέσα & έξω το σίδερο καλύφτηκε με ένα στρώμα λούστρου νεφτιού.
• Αφαιρείται η χαρτοταινία.
• Τέλος στο κάτω μέρος κολλήθηκε τσόχα για να μπορεί το σίδερο να τοποθετηθεί πάνω σε έπιπλο χωρίς να το φθείρει.
• Στο εσωτερικό του μπορούν να τοποθετηθούν αποξηραμένα αρωματικά στοιχεία & μπορεί επίσης να μείνει ανοιχτό.
  
  
  
  

An old iron changed its appearance as follows:

Before any treatment, I had painted the iron gold inside and out, except for the wooden handle and the wooden closing button which were painted red.

• The wooden parts were covered with paper tape.
• The outer side and the lid were covered with a layer of one-component crackle paint.
• After drying, these areas were covered with white acrylic paint using a sponge, except for the lid which was covered with black paint.
• Inside & outside, decoupage was done with images torn from a paper towel.
• With dots of orange acrylic paint & using a stencil, the dots on the lid as well as irregular lines on the upper part of the lid were made.
• Inside & outside, the iron was covered with a layer of kerosene varnish.
• The paper tape is removed.
• Finally, felt was glued to the bottom so that the iron can be placed on furniture without damaging it.
• Dried aromatic elements can be placed inside & it can also be left open.
