ΜΑΖΕΨΤΕ ΚΑΡΥΔΑΚΙΑ ΓΙΑ ΛΙΚΕΡ (COLLECT WALNUT FOR LIQUER)

Τώρα είναι ο κατάλληλος καιρός να μαζέψουμε μικρά καρύδια για να φτάξουμε πανεύκολα ένα εξαιρετικό λικέρ. Τα καρύδια πρέπει να είναι σε μιρό μέγεθος (σαν το νύχι του αντίχειρα, έλεγε η μητέρα μου), προτού ξυλοποιηθεί το εσωτερικό τους.
 Τα βάζουμε σε μια σακούλα που να κλείνει αεροστεγώς & τα σπάζουμε ελαφρά με έν βαρύ ξύλο ή λαστιχένιο σφυρί. Τα τοποθετούμε σε ένα μπουκάλι με φαρδύ στόμιο ,ρίχνουμε λίγη ζάχαρη μεχρι να τα σκεπάσει & γεμίζουμε το μπουκάλι με αλκοόλ.Αυτό μπορεί να είναι τσίπουρο χωρίς γλυκάνισο,βότκα ή κονιάκ. Η ζάχαρη βοηθά τα καρυδάκια να εκλύσουν το άρωμά τους. Επίσης βάζουμε δυο-τρία γαρύφαλλα, ένα κομματκι κανέλλα & λίγο τριμμένο μοσχοκάρυδο. Το εκθέτουμε στον ήλιο σαράντα μέρες 8 μετά το φιλτράρισμα προσθέτουμε ένα αραιό σιρόπι δοκιμάζωντας. Το ποτό σκουραίνει σταδιακά, βλέπετε τη διαφορά σε δύο μονο μέρες!

θέτοντας τα κορδόνια στη αρχή σύμφωνα με το σχεδιάγραμμα. Μπορεί επίσης να πλεχτεί & σε στρόγγυλο δίσκο, θέτοντας τα κορδόνια με τον εικονιζόμενο τρόπο.

ΠΙΑΤΟ ΜΕ KOKKINA & KITRINA ΤΡΙΑΝΤΑΦΥΛΛΑ (PLATE WITH RED & YELLOW ROSES)

Σε μεγάλο πλαστικό πιάτο με επιφάνεια ανάγλυφου κρακελέ έγινε decoupage με κολάζ εικόνωνRED & YELLOW τριαντάφυλλων σκισμένεων από χαρτοπετσέτα. Επειδή το φόντο της χαρτοπετσέτας είχε την ίδια ακριβώς απόχρωση με το πιάτο οι εικόνες ενσωματώθηκαν απολύτως & δεν φαίνωνται καθόλου τα όρια. Τέλος ένα στρώμα λούστρου σε spray δίνει ομοιόχρωμη γυαλάδα σε όλη την επιφάνεια. Ένα κρέμασμα κολλημένο στο πίσω μέρος με θερμοκόλα μας δίνει τη δυνατότητα να το κρεμάσουμε στον τοίχο.
On a large plastic plate with a relief crate surface, a decoupage was made withcollage of   images of red & yellow roses  torn from a paper towel. Because the background of the napkin had exactly the same tint with the dish, the images were completely embedded and the boundaries are not visible at all. Finally, a layer of polish in spray gives a uniform gloss across the surface. A hanging stuck in the back with  gluegun enables us to hang on the wall.

DECOUPAGE ΜΕ ΕΙΚΟΝΕΣ ΤΡΙΑΝΤΑΦΥΛΛΩΝ ΣΕ ΠΙΝΑΚΑ (DECOUPAGE WITH IMAGES OF ROSES IN A TABLE)

Σε ένα μικρό μακρόστενο πίνακα έγινε decoupage με μεγάλες εικόνες τριαντάφυλλων. Ακολούθως  με σκούρα ακρυλικά χρώματα ενσωτώηκαν οι εικόνες στο φόντο & το σκούρο χρώμα απίσης κάλυψε τα πλάγια του πίνακα. Τέλος με κόλλα glitter & με χρήση σφουγγαριού σε αντίστοιχα χρώματα καλύφτηκαν οι εικόνες για λάμψη.

On a small oblong table was decoupage with large roses pictures. Then, in dark acrylic colors, the images were placed in the background, the dark aperture color covered the sides of the panel. Finally with glitter glue & using sponge in corresponding colors were covered images for shine.

ΣΟΥ ΚΑΡΑΜΕΛΕ ΠΑΠΑΚΙΑ ΓΙΑ ΤΗ ΓΙΟΡΤΗ ΜΟΥ (CHOU CARAMELE DUCKLINGS FOR MY NAME DAY)

Σήμερα επί τη ευκαιρία της γιορτής μου έφτιαξα σού κεραμελέ σε σχήμα πάπιας.
Τη ζύμη σού την έφτιαξα ακολουθώντας τις αναλογίες & τις οδηγίες εδώ: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8A9J-He6nDQ.Φτιάχνωντας τη ζύμη πρώτα χρησιμοποιώντας στενό κορνέ έφτιαξα τα κεφαλάκια της πάπιας, τα έψησα πρώτα αυτά για λίγο & μετά έψησα τα μεγάλα σού όπως εξηγεί το video. Τα γέμισα με κρέμα ζαχαροπλαστική χρησιμοποιώντας κορνέ & στην τρύπα τοποθέτησα τα κεφαλάκια, τα πασπάλισα με καβουρντισμένο ψιλοκομμένο αμύγδαλο & μετά κάνοντας καραμέλλα με νερό & ζάχαρη , μόλις το μείγμα αρχίζει να σκουραίνει το έρριξα αμέσως πάνω στα σού. 
Today, on the occasion of my feast, I made you a duck-like candy.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8A9J-He6nDQ. Making the dough first using a narrow cornet I made the head of the duck, I cooked them for a while and then I cooked the big ones as the video explains.The filled with cream confectionary using piping bag and placed in the hole of the heads, the dusting with finely roasted almond and after making caramel with water and sugar, once the mixture begins to darken immediately cast onto thee.

ΑΝΑΚΑΙΝΙΣΗ ΠΑΛΙΑΣ ΓΑΒΑΘΑΣ (RENOVATION OF OLD DEEP RLATER)

Μια παλιά ραγισμένη πιατέλα της γειτόνισσας μου άλλαξε όψη με την τεχνικά του decoupage για να γίνει από χρηστική διακοσμητική.
Πρώτα με χρήση σφουγγαριού & primer sσκεπάστηκαν τα ραγίσματα & η εικόνα που υπήρχε στο κέντρο δίχως να αλλάξει η κόκκινη γραμμή στο περιθώριο.
Ακολούθως έγινε decoupage εικόνων σκισμένων από χαρτοπετσέτα. 
Με ακρυλικά χρώματα επεξεργάστηκαν  οι εικόνες. 
Κατόπιν έγινε εφαρμογή κρακελέ δύο συστατικών opalsque της Pentart.  Τοποθετώντας μαύρη πορπορίνα εμφανίζωνται λεπτές μαύρες ρωγμές & ελαφρά γκρίζα απόχρωση στο φόντο.
Ένα στρώμα σατινέ λούστρου νεφτιού τελειοποιεί την όψη πορσελάνης. 
An old cracked platter of my neighbor has changed my face with its decoupage technique to make it a usable decorative
First, using a sponge and primer were covered cracks and the picture that was in the center without changing the red line in the margin.
Subsequently it became decoupage images of torn paper towel. With acrylic paints the images were processed. 
Then Pentart's two-component opalsque crackle was applied.
 Placing black porporina  has subtle black cracks and a slight gray hue in the background.  A cloud of satin polish satin finishes the porcelain look.

ΜΕΝΤΑΓΙΟΝ ΜΕ ΤΣΟΦΛΙΑ & ΠΑΤΙΝΕΣ (PENDANT WITH EGGSHELLS & PATINAS)

Αυτό το μενταγιόν έγιναν σε θήκη ποζ από τενεκέ πάνω στην οποία επικολλήθηκαν τσόφλια αυγού με κόλλα ξύλου. Μετά το στέγνωμα έγινα επεξεργασία με κόκκινη,, μπλε & μαύρη κηροπατίνα της Pentart για εισχωρήσει μεσα στις ρωγμές & να δοθεί εντύπωση ψηφιδωτού.  Τέλος έγινε επικάλυψη με υγρό γυαλί. Το μενταγιόν κρεμάστηκε σε κορδόνι

This pendant was made in a pouch made of a tin can on which were glued egg shells with wood glue. After drying, I worked on Pentart's red, blue & black ceramics to penetrate into the cracks and give a mosaic impression. Finally it was covered with liquid glass.

ΦΑΒΑ ΣΚΥΡΙΑΝΗ (FAVA FROM SKYROS)

Δοκιμάζωντας την στο πρόφατο ταξίδι μου στη Σκύρο, τη μαγείρεψα, όπως την έφαγα εκεί. Αφου βράσουμε τη φάβα για 5 λεπτά, πετάμε το πρώτο νερό. Κατόπιν τη βράζουμε σε αρκετό νερό μέχρι να μαλακώσει & το λοιώνουμε με το ραβδομπλέντερ. Τσιγαρίζουμε το ψιλοκομμένο κρεμμυδι αε ελαιόλαδο, το ρίχνουμε μέσα στη φάβα ρίχνουμε αλάτι, πιπέρι & ψιλοκμμένο μάραθο (μάζεψα αρκετό απ΄τη Σκύρο & το έβαλα ψιλοκμμένο στην κατάψυξη) & το βράζουμε ακόμη λίγο. Σερβίρεται σαν ορεκτικό σε μπωλ γαρνιρισμένο με εληές.
Trying her on my last trip to Skyros, I cooked it, as I ate there. After boiling the fava for 5 minutes, we throw the first water. Then boil it in some water until it softens & it is poured with the raspberries. Cook the chopped onion with olive oil, pour it into the feta, add salt, pepper and finely chopped fennel (I collected enough tb & put it in the freezer) and boil it a bit. Served as an appetizer in a bowl with gherkins.

ΦΡΑΟΥΛΕΣ & ΑΝΑΓΛΥΦΑ ΤΡΙΑΝΤΑΦΥΛΛΑ ΣΕ ΜΠΟΥΚΑΛΙ (STRAWBERRIES & EMBOSSED ROSES IN BOTTLE)

Οι τρεις όψεις ενός μπουκαλιού από βότκα που άλλαξε όψη με τον εξής τρόπο:

• Αφού σπάστηκε η μπίλια στο άνοιγμα για να γίνει χρηστικό ψεκάστηκε με spray ανοιχτόχρωμα για να σκεπαστούν οι υπάρχουσες επιγραφές. 
• Κατόπιν έγινε decoupage με εικόνα σκισμένη από χαρτοπετσέτα. 
• Πανω στα τριαντάφυλλα στη βάση επικολλήθηκαν τριαντάφυλλα από αυτοξεραινόμενο πηλό.
•  Τα ανάγλυφα τριαντάφυλλα χρωματίστηκαν με ακρυλικά χρώματα. 
• Με 3D gel επικαλύφτηκαν οι φράουλες για να γίνουν ελαφρώς ανάγλυφες. 
• Τέλος ένα στρώμα λούστρου νεφτιού γυαλιστερό δίνει ιδιαίτερη λάμψη & προστασία.

The three sides of a vodka bottle that changed its appearance in the following way:

• έφτιαξα το παραδοσιακό γλυκό χουσμερί, το οποίο αντί να το ψήσω σε ταψί το έψησα σε μικρές φόρμες με βαθούλωμα στη μέση ώστε μέσα εκεί να εισχωρήσει το μέλι μετά το ψησιμο. 
• Υλικά
• 350γρ φρέσκια ανάλατη μυζήθρα ή ανθότυρο
• 1 φλυτζ. τσαγιού ζάχαρη
• 2 αυγά
• 1 φλυτζ. τσαγιού αλεύρι
• 1 κουτ.γλυκού μπέικιν πάουντερ
• 1 βανίλια
• Χτυπάμε όλα τα υλικά μαζί τα ψήνομε σε μέτριο φούρνο 15 λεπτά. αφού κρυώσουν τα κέικ ρίχνουμε σ΄αυτά μέλι & κανέλλα.

• I made the traditional sweet chousmeri, which instead bake in the griddle baked in small molds with a dent in the middle means that there penetrate honey displacement firing.
• Materials
• 350g unsalted fresh cheese or cream cheese
• 1 cup. tea sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1 cup. tea flour
• 1 tbsp. Sweet baking powder
• 1 vanill
• Beat all the ingredients together and bake in a medium oven for 15 minutes. After the cakes have cooled down, we add honey and cinnamon.

ΑΝΑΜΝΗΣΕΙΣ ΑΠΟ ΤΗ ΜΗΤΕΡΑ ΜΟΥ (MEMORIES OF MY MOTHER )

Σήμερα, δεύτερη Κυριακή του Μαΐου γιορτή της μητέρας, θυμάμαι με πόνο τη μητέρα μου παρ όλο που έχει φύγει από κοντά μας πριν εικοσιοχτώ χρόνια. Ήταν ένας χαρισματικός άνθρωπος με ταλέντο στη ζωγραφική & σε οτιδήποτε εικαστικό, που έμεινε αναξιοποίητο λόγω των αντιλήψεων της εποχής. Μου έμειναν οι ελαιογραφίες της που είχε δημιουργήσει όντας μαθήτρια της Αστικής σχολής Τρικάλων (κάτι ανάμεσα σε γυμνάσιο & οικοκυρική σχολή) πριν απ΄τον πόλεμο, που σταμάτησαν μετά την αποφοίτηση της. Τότε τα κορίτσια έπρεπε να κεντούν, να υφαίνουν & να πλέκουν. Μου έμειναν & τα εργόχειρά της να μου τη θυμίζουν κάθε στιγμή.

Today, the second Sunday of May, the mother's celebration, I remember my mother's pain despite having left us twenty-eight years ago. He was a charismatic woman with talent in painting & in any artwork that was left untapped due to the perceptions of the time. I was left with the oil paintings she had created as a student of the Trikala Urban School (something between a high school and a home school) before the war, which ended after graduation. Then the girls had to be embroidered, weaved & knit. I stayed & my workmanship reminded me of it every moment.

Μια πανεύκολη χειροτεχνία είναι να φτιάξετε αυτά τα μεγάλα λολούδια που μοιάζουν με ντάλιες χρησιμοποιώντας χαρτί αφής με τον τρόπο που ακριβώς περιγράφεται εδώ:

Επειδή δεν βρήκα χρωματιστό χαρτί αφής, σκέφτηκα πριν το.δίπλωμα να βάψω τις άκρες του χαρτιού με μαρκαδόρους. ΜΕΝΤΑΓΙΟΝ ΜΕ ΤΗ ΜΑΙΡΥΛΙΝ (PENDANT WITH MAIRYLIN)

Η εικόνα της Μαίρυλιν Μονρόε ενσωματώθηκε σε μενταγιόν από τενεκέ αφού προηγουμένως καλύφτηκε με prisma fantasy. Κατόπιν περιστοιχίστηκε με κόκκινες κουκίδες από conture (relief) & καλυφτηκε με υγρό γυαλί. Το μενταγιόν κρεμάστηκε σε κορδόνι

The image of Mairylyn Monroe was embedded in a pendant pendant after being covered with prisma fantasy. Then surrounded with red dots of contour (relief)and covered with liquid glass. The pendants were hung on a kumihimo knitted string as described here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vc5hiWZNKW4

ΒΡΑΧΙΟΛΙ KUMIHIMO ΣΕ ΦΩΤΕΙΝΑ ΧΡΩΜΑΤΑ (KUMIHIMO BRACELET IN LIGHT COLORS)

ΚΡΑΚΕΛΕ, DECOUPAGE, 3D, ΠΗΛΟΣ & ΛΟΥΣΤΡΟ ΣΕ ΜΕΤΑΛΛΙΚΟ ΚΟΥΤΙ

Για ν΄αλλάξει τελείως η όψη αυτού του κουτιού έγιναν οι εξής εργασίες:

• Πρώτα ψεκάστηκε το κουτί με καφέ spray.
• Ακολούθως ένα χοντρό στρώμα κρακελέ του ενός συστατικού.
• Κάλυψη με όχι πολύ πηχτό λευκό ακρυλικό χρώμα με τη χρήση σφουγγαριού.
• Αφού εμφανιστούν οι ρωγμές γίνεται σε μερικά σημεία decoupage με εικόνες λουλουδιών.
• Τα λουλούδια τονίστηκαν με 3D για ν΄αποκτήσουν όγκο.
• Στα λευκά καπάκια κολλήθηκε ένα ανάγλυφο άνθος από αυτοξεραινόμενο πηλό όμοιο με τα άνθη που επικολλήθηκαν με decoupage.
• Τα ανάγλυφα άνθη ζωγραφίστηκαν με τα ίδια ακριβώς χρώματα των άλλων λουλουδιών.
• Με κόκκινη περλέ κηροπατίνα έγινε περαιτέρω επεξεργασία & στο κουτί & στο καπάκι.
• Τέλος έγιν επικάλυψη με ένα στρώμα γυαλιστερού  λούστρου νεφτιού για λάμψη & προστασία.

To completely change the look of this box, the following work was done:

• First sprayed the box with brown spraying.
• Then a coarse layer of one-component crake.
• Cover with not too thick white acrylic paint using a sponge.
• Once the cracks appear, it is done at some decoupage points with flower images.
• The flowers were highlighted with 3D to get volume.
• The white caps were glued a relief of autoclaved clay similar to the flowers that were glued with decoupage.
• The embossed flowers were painted in exactly the same colors of the other flowers.
• With red pearl stitch was further processed & in the box & lid.
• Finally, it was coated with a layer of shiny gloss glaze for shine & protection.

Στο πρόσφατο ταξίδι μου στη Σκύρο, θαύμασα στο λαογραφικό της μουσείο τα υπέροχα σκυριανά κεντήματα, τα περισσότερα με την ονομαστή σκυριανή βελονιά,που τη διδαχτήκμε & την εφαρμόσαμε σε κεντήματα τύπου τσεβρέ στη δεκαετία του΄70.

Αντιγραφή σχεδίου από σκυριανό κέντημα είναι & η πρώτη μου χαλκογραφία που έφτιαξα πριν ακριβώς σαράντα χρόνια!!!!!!!!!!!!!
On my recent trip to Skyros, I admired in its folklore museum the wonderful Skyrian embroideries, most of them with the famous Sicilian Stitch, which we taught it and we applied it to embroidery in the 70s.

Copying a design from Skyscraper is my first engraving that I made just forty years ago !!!!!!!!!!!!!

ΑΣΠΡΟΜΑΥΡΟ ΜΕΝΤΑΓΙΟΝ ΑΠΌ CERNIT (BLACK & WHITE PENDANT OF CERNIT)

Αυτό το μενταγιόν από cernit(fimo) έγινε ως εξής:
Πλάστηκε μια μπάλα από μαύρο & άσπρο cernit(fimo) που αφού πιέστηκε πάνω σε μια ημισφαιρική φόρμα, πιέστηκε πνάνω στο καστόνι που θα εφαρμοσθεί για να πάρει ακριβώς το σχήμα του. Με λευκό cernit(fimo) πλάστηκε πολύ λεπτό κορδόνι από το οποίο δημιουργήθηκαν τα γράμματα που επικολλήθηκαν πάνω στο ημιασφαιρικό σχήμα. Ακολούθως ψήθηκε σε φούρνο σύμφωνα με τις οδηγίες του cernit & μετά τη σκλήρυνση επικολλήθηκε στο καστόνι.
This pendant of cernit (fimo) was made as follows:
A ball of black & white cernit (fimo) was struck, which after being pressed against a hemispheric form was pressed onto the caston that would be applied to get its shape. With white cernit (fimo), a very thin cord was made from which the letters were placed on the semi-spherical shape. It was then baked in an oven according to the instructions of cernit and after curing it was glued to the coulomb.
