Σήμερα Μεγάλη Παρασκευή η παράδοση μας επιβάλλει μέχρι την Αποκαθήλωση & την περιφορά του Επιταφίου να μην τρώμε τίποτε που να περιέχει λάδι, να μην στρώνουμε τραπέζι & να συμπεριφερώμεθα ακριβώς όπως όταν υπάρχει κάποιος νεκρός στο σπίτι.Μετά την περιφορά των Επιταφίων όμως τα τελευταία χρόνια όλοι κάπου πηγαίνουν για νηστίσσιμο φαγητό, έτσι κι εγώ έφτιαξα αυτό το νηστίσσιμο στιφάδο ακριβώς όπως περιγράφεται εδώ:

Today, Good Friday, our tradition requires us to eat nothing that contains oil, to lay down a table, and to behave just like when someone is dead at home until the Sacramentation & Surrender of the Epitaph.
