ΟΙ ΜΙΚΡΕΣ ΠΙΑΤΕΛΕΣ ΕΓΙΝΑΝ ΚΑΔΡΑΚΙΑ (THE SMALL PLATES BECAME FRAMES)

Μικρές μεταλλικές πιατέλες για σαλάτες έγιναν καδράκια με τον εξής τρόπο:

• Πρώτα  ψεκάστηκαν ελαφρά με λευκό spray.
• Μετά στο κέντρο επικολλήθηκε κύκλος από χαρτόνι.  
• Εκατέρωθεν του κύκλου έγινε decoupoage με εικόνες σκισμένες από χαρτοπετσέτα.  
• Το υπόλοιπο τμήμα και ο κύκλος καλύφτηκαν με χάκινο χρώμα. 
• Ακολούθως περάστηκε ένα στρώμα κρακελέ του ενός συστατικού. 
• Γύρω από τον κύκλο & εντός αυτού επικολλήθηκαν ανάγλυφα στοιχεία που έγιναν με χρήση φόρμας. Όλη η πιατέλα & τα ανάγλυφα στοιχεία καλύφτηκαν με λευκό χρώμα χρησιμοποιώντας σφουγγάρι με αποτέλεσμα να εμφανιστούν λεπτές ρωγμές.  
• Τα ανάγλυφα στοιχεία καιτο περιθώριο επεξεργάστηκαν με χάλκινη δακρυλοπατίνα.  
• Ένα στρώμα γυαλιστερού λούστρου σε spray σταθεροποιεί την εργασία.  
• Στο πίσω μέρος με θερμοκόλα στερεώνονται σχοινάκι για κρέμασμα στον τοίχο.

Small metal plates for salads were made into frames as follows:

• First they were lightly sprayed with white spray.
• Then a cardboard circle was pasted in the center.
• On both sides of the circle was decoupoage with images torn from a napkin.
• The rest of the section and the circle were covered with khaki paint.
• A layer of one-ingredient crackers was then applied.
• Embossed elements made using a form were pasted around the circle & inside it. The entire plate & embossed elements were covered with white paint using a sponge resulting in fine cracks.
• The embossed elements and the fringe were treated with bronze teardrop patina.
• A layer of glossy varnish in spray stabilizes the work.
• At the back with a hot glue are attached a rope for hanging on the wall.
